Dr. Augusto Castro 

Doctor in Latin American Studies from the University of Tokyo, Japan; Master of Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Licentiate in Philosophy from the same university. Full Professor at the Department of Social Sciences, Section of Sociology of PUCP. Director of INTE-PUCP and Coordinator of the Ethics, Environment and Society Research Group.


Dr. Nicole Bernex

Doctor in Geography from the University of Montpellier, France. Master in India and Doctorate in Thailand and Philippines. Specialization in urbanism, land-use planning and environment. Grant-holder of the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO). Full professor at the Humanities Department of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). She is the Academic Director of the Center for Research in Applied Geography (CIGA).


Dr. Eric Cosio

Doctor in Botany – Vegetal Biochemistry. Master of Biochemistry from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University. Licentiate in Biology from the same university.  Full professor at the Department of Sciences, Section of Chemistry of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).


Eng. Miguel Hadzich

Mechanical Engineer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). MBA in Energy and Environment from the University of Twente, Netherlands. He has received the International Energy Globe Award 2007, a special award for research from the National Council of Science and Technology (CONCYTEC). Full professor at the Department of Engineering, Section of Mechanical Engineering of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Coordinator of the Rural Sector Support Group.


Dr. Hildegardo Córdova

PhD in Geography. Master of Geography. Full professor at the Humanities Department of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Executive Director of the Center for Research in Applied Geography (CIGA).


Dr. Carlos Tavares

Doctor in Environmental Sciences from the University of Concepción, Chile. Master of Geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Licentiate in Geography from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Full professor at the Humanities Department, Section of Geography and Environment of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Member of the Center for Research in Applied Geography (CIGA).


Dra. Ana Sabogal

Doctor in Sciences of Nature from the Technical University of Berlin. Master of International Agriculture Development from the same university. Agronomy Engineer of La Molina National Agrarian University. Professor at the Humanities Department, Section of Geography and Environment of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). She was Director of Research and Information of the Ministry of Environment. Coordinator of the Forests and Reforestation Research Group.


Dr. Fernando Roca

Doctor in Social Anthropology from the School for Advanced Studies in Social Sciences, Paris-France. Master of Theology from the Centre Sèvres, Paris, France. Full professor at the Communication Department and Director of Student Affairs of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Member of the Forests and Reforestation Research Group.


Eng. Urphy Vásquez

Engineer in Natural Resources and Renewable Energies from the Alas Peruanas University. Master of Management and Politics of Innovation and Technology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). Diploma in Design and Management of Social Projects (PUCP) and Diploma in Innovation and Technology Management (PUCP). Coordinator of the area of research groups of INTE-PUCP
