About the project

Its objective was to contribute to better water governance in Peru. To do so, it sought to demonstrate how the improvement of cross-sectoral interaction is an effective strategy to achieving water security and developing resilience to climate change for sustainable development. It also sought to facilitate good water governance by strengthening technical and institutional capacities of entities and decision makers, aiming at improving international management of water resources, and at supporting national governments in future legislative framework development.
